1. 0.2.13 (Beta)

   2026-09-24 Beta

   CareerHound AI now works on the first click for signed-in trial users.

   Fixed

   • Trial users without Cursor installed no longer see "Cursor CLI is not installed" after allowing AI sharing. Drafts go through CareerHound AI as intended.
   • After you click Allow on the AI sharing prompt, the action you asked for continues instead of silently stopping.
   • The AI status indicator and activity banner now show the AI service actually in use.
   • An expired trial gets a clear message instead of a failed request.

2. 0.2.12 (Beta)

   2026-09-23 Beta

   Pick up and go: sign in and AI drafting works, no setup.

   Added

   • CareerHound AI: signed-in trial and Pro users draft through CareerHound's own AI service. No Cursor, no API key, nothing to install.
   • Each request is isolated and carries only the text for that one draft. Your prompts and drafts are never stored on the server; it only counts requests for daily limits.

   Changed

   • Every Windows, macOS and Linux build is now launched and walked page by page before it is published.
   • macOS now ships as a proper CareerHound.app (smaller download, double-click to open).

   A cleaner first run and one connected Application workflow, from the job post to the follow-up.

   Added

   • Resume Builder: a live one-page resume built from your career record, with versions per application.
   • Follow-up timing: People tabs suggest when to reach out next, with a recommended window.
   • First-run tour that walks Quick Start, People and Home.
   • Free now shows the top 10 people on every People tab.

   Changed

   • Quick Start is three steps. AI setup lives in Settings.
   • Simpler copy across the Hub for first-time users.
   • Message templates drop empty clauses and never fill in facts you didn't give.
   • The import toast now says exactly what it skipped.
   • Retired pages (Command Center, Daily Outreach, Pipeline, Templates) redirect to their replacements.

   Fixed

   • Home refreshes after you send messages.
   • Role Intelligence warns when it falls back instead of failing silently.
   • Sample data uses a fully fictional person.

   The big one: accounts, license keys, real downloads, and a new mascot, all local, one build.

   Added

   • One-click downloads for Windows, macOS, and Linux at /download. Download, unzip, run. No source setup.
   • Unified sign-in: one screen, two paths. Paste a license key to activate instantly, or create a free account for a 7‑day trial.
   • Accounts shared between the website and the Hub: email + password sign-in, email verification, and password reset. The server owns your plan and expiry.
   • Activation-anchored trial keys: a beta key's 7 days start the moment you activate it on your machine, not when it was issued.
   • New borzoi mascot: a sculpted 3D borzoi with an animated day / dusk / night landscape in the Hub.
   • Today outreach flow: a daily list of people to message with personalized, copy-and-send drafts and a 30‑day stale-invite review. You always send it yourself.
   • Import your LinkedIn or resume archive (ZIP) and keep saved per-contact context between sessions.

   Changed & hardened

   • Desktop sessions are stored in the native OS keychain (Windows Credential Manager, macOS Keychain, Linux Secret Service), never in plaintext, with a safe fallback to key login if the keychain is unavailable.
   • Issued keys are verified against an exact registry hash; no permissive fallback.
   • Everything stays local. Your resumes, job data, and LinkedIn exports never leave your machine. The account only tracks your license and trial.
